Matthews Plate Clamp Duckbill

The Matthews Plate Clamp is a duckbill-style clamp that’s ideal for holding beadboard, foam core, and bounce cards. Adjustable jaws, multiple mounting options, and sturdy metal construction make the Plate Clamp a great accessory for studio or location shoots.

The Plate Clamp is outfitted with a vice grip handle and adjustable 7-inch metal jaws that will firmly hold a sheet of paper and open up to four inches wide. A welded 5/8-inch (baby pin) stud allows you to mount the clamp to grip heads and other stands or adapters with baby-pin receivers.

An alternate use for the Plate Clamp is to attach it onto a vertical surface for use as an accessory baby-pin attachment for lights or other fixtures. You can experiment with creative light placement by mounting small lights in tight or nearly inaccessible places like in a corner or on the floor.
